Got 5 minutes to spend with God?

Point your mobile browser to: www.sacredspace.ie and you will find a guided daily mini-meditation put together by the Jesuits. You will be guided through an encounter with God complete with soft music and a scripture reading for the day.

The website can be accessed by any browser but has been tailored to be easily viewed on a small screen like your smart phone without the need for a separate app.

Go to www.sacredspace.ie and start by clicking on Begin Prayer and then selecting the day of the week. You will now see a Presence page that gets you ready to pray and there is a speaker button at the bottom that you can click to hear some soothing music while you read.

If you need a little help there is a link at the top of each page labelled Guide that you can click for specific help with that part of the meditation.

Move through the mediation at your own pace by clicking on the Move On link for each page.

The Word of God page provides a scripture reading from the Catholic Daily Mass Readings and for those who would like do dive a little deeper there is a Need Inspiration link at the top of the page that provides a mini homily.

You can spend 5 or 15 minutes with God with the guidance of the Irish Jesuits as long as you have a browser and time to read/reflect.
